Where does the information come from?
From over 100 public sources: French and UK travel advice, embassies, ministries, news agencies, airspace and maritime traffic data. Every fact shown cites its sources.
Does it replace official instructions?
No. In an emergency, always follow the instructions of the authorities and your embassy. Family Safe reads them for you, links them to your address and helps you get ready.
Why not just follow the news?
Because the media cover the whole region, around the clock. Family Safe keeps only what changes something for your address, and leaves you alone the rest of the time.
Which cities are covered?
Doha, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Riyadh today, with a verified level. Dammam and Khobar, Jeddah, Kuwait City, Manama and Muscat are already monitored and will open as soon as their level is verified.

Why isn’t it on the App Store?
Family Safe is a web app: it installs from your browser in 30 seconds, updates itself and sends the same notifications as a regular app. The App Store version will come later.
